With the help of our donors and the generous contributions of the senior management, each year PYCA provides food, essential supplies, and learning support to the most marginalized households in Islamabad and its periphery.
Programs & Impact
In partnership with the Federal Directorate of education, PYCA runs two Accelerate Learning Centers that provide catch-up and remedial learning support to 50 out-of-school children at a time. The children in each batch after completing the course are mainstreamed into a government school and a fresh batch of 50 students replaces them.
We also routinely provide support in the form of ration packs, essential supplies, clothing and toys to the most marginalized households identified through our team and volunteers in and around Islamabad. This support is especially provided during the holy month of Ramazan, during festive occasions such as Eid, Christmas and/or Diwali and during emergency situations such as the 2020 COVID-19 outbreak.
